What Does It Mean to Be United by Flame?
A Note from the Grillseeker
We live in a society that is increasingly divided. Why that is can be attributed to any number of things; social media, the 24-hour news cycle, and constant tweeting all contribute to this divide. Because bad news means good ratings, there’s rarely anything positive on the airways.
What I enjoy so much about cooking over fire is that it brings people together and bridges the divide between us.
We are UNITED BY FLAME. No matter our race, gender, sexual orientation, cultural upbringing, socioeconomic standing, or political affiliation, cooking over a fire brings people together—differences get set aside.
Outdoor cooking is therapeutic for me and I don’t think I am alone in this feeling. So instead of getting fired up over the latest cable news story, fire up your grill. Invite your neighbors over, make some great memories and enjoy the experience.
