Breeo, known for their quality smokeless fire pits built in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, has jumped into the grill market. This Breeo Live Fire grill review will take a deep dive into the quality, user friendliness, and value of their first dedicated grill.
As standard, there was no compensation given for this review. The unit was provided free of charge. The opinions are those of the good folks from grillseeker.com who tested it.

What We Loved:
Assembly And Quality Of Materials:
The grill was packaged very well, all hardware was included and assembly took less than an hour.
That time included documenting the assembly for this review of course, and could have been done in less time.
Some products look nice in photos, but they feel (and are) cheap. Not the Breeo Live Fire Grill. The quality of the materials used is overtly obvious.
This thing is built like a tank. There are literally 64 substantial screws holding it together and it could probably be fine with half of that amount. No corners were cut.
It’s clear when assembling many grills that some great ideas just get costed out. Short cuts are taken in order to meet a certain price point. Not with the Breeo.
I can’t say I have ever been more impressed in terms of quality of materials, and ease of assembly at this price point, and beyond.
Versatility:
This grill is amazingly versatile with the number of accessories that can be utilized.
We’re huge fans of raised direct heat cooking and the optional grill grate allows for grilling just inches above the coals, or over two feet above the coals.
You can cook on a pan using the skillet rest, or the grill grate. Or hang the optional cast iron kettle. Think Andrew Zimmern style cooking in his hit show: Wild Game Kitchen.
If griddling is your jam (griddle cooking is certainly having a moment right now) there’s an optional flat top griddle available.
The griddle is no slouch either, it’s a heavy duty griddle with the drip slot in the back, making clean up super easy.
Want to have pizza night with the kids? There’s an optional pizza oven available as well.
That was not part of what was supplied to us by Breeo, so we can’t report on that specific element.
If you’re not cooking on the unit, you can easily use it as a fire pit. The optional accessories like the outpost heat deflector and spark screen are compatible with the Live Fire Grill and add to the versatility of the unit.
Finally, the versatility of fuel source. You can easily cook just using charcoal, and that’s great. What’s even better is having the ability to add splits of wood to the hot coals.
Side Shelves: The side shelves on this unit are large enough to accommodate a typical quarter sheet pan, and they’re robust.
Nothing flimsy about these shelves, and they include cut outs for “S” hooks for hanging accessories.
Adjustable Feet:
All four legs of the grill come with height adjustable feet. These come in super handy when using the griddle.
By adjusting the feet properly, any rendered oils drain to the back of the griddle through the cleanout slot, and into the fire. This allows them to be burned up, as opposed to dripping down the front of the grill.
Fun:
Grilling and outdoor cooking for many is about more than just the flavor that live fire cooking provides.
This grill is an experience. It’s a sense of community, way to bring people together around the fire, and actively participate in the process.
In a nutshell, the Breeo Live Fire Grill is just fun!
Smoke Management:
With the air management system built into the unit, the smoke from the live fire is nearly non-existent. We have no problems saying this is the cleanest fire we’ve cooked over.
Because of that, it makes an excellent fire pit to gather round and have the beverage of your choice.
What Could Be Improved
We’re not typically at a loss for picking out even minutia that could be improved with just about everything we’ve reviewed. In this case, it’s a struggle but if we’re knit picking:
There’s not a cover for the whole grill. There’s a steel cover for the fire pit, but if you want to cover the entire grill, you’ll need to purchase a generic large grill cover.
Beyond that one disappointment, this grill is on point for it’s intended purpose.
Who It’s For?
The is the perfect grill for an outdoor enthusiast or beginner alike. There’s a very minimal learning curve to using this grill, so even those with little experience can master it in no time.
It’s great for family reunions, back yard barbeques, block parties, or family nights in. The price point isn’t much different than any decent grill, and with the versatility of this unit it’s a huge bang for your buck.
Final Thoughts
It’s been a minute since we’ve been so excited about a new cooker, but the Breeo Live Fire Grill has us excited! This grill is built to last, it’s easy to use — but more importantly, it’s FUN to use.
This is the kind of grill that creates experiences, and memories. It’s not just a utilitarian piece of equipment, it’s a lifestyle. And a fun one at that. We’d absolutely recommend the Breeo Live Fire Grill.
